i agree. tough it's fun to see gnome implementing things that have been in
KDE for a while, i would also love to be informed about really NEW stuff
on the linux desktop ;-)

more serious, i think the destkop team is very Gnome centric, and in good
Gnome tradition it is just called Desktopteam, without any hint to the
fact there *might* be some other desktop under linux. let'em have their
fun...

it would be nice to see more news coming from the kubuntu team, but it
looks like they just implement great things without noise - and let
others, if they manage to finally follow, make the noise. typical.
