I could but beg that the multimedia packages that are offered with 10.1 should actually work. For example, Soundtracker has been broken since SuSe 9.3 or earlier; JACK doesn't interface with several JACK enabled multimedia packages when it *does* run (and hardly runs without a BSCS administering the system) and at least one release of SuSe had Hydrogen compiled with a debug interface enabled - not even funny! Documentation for the use of Soundtracker, Hydrogen, JACK, and more: nothing tells the user about configuration file locations, nothing mentions the options supported in the config files, etc. In other words, the multimedia tools are useful to the people that already know how to correct the errors.

I paid for retail 10.0 in hopes of having a functional music creation environment; alas, it wasn't to be found in 10.0.
