And as anyone that is not delusional can see now, you were completely wrong, not only there is git, but there is also Mercurial, which in 7000 lines of python provides everything one will ever need from a distributed version control system, many improvements still are possible, but that is true of any piece of software, what matters is that it works right now, and it does what people needs. (And I'm sorry to break this to you, but it's much faster and cleaner than bk will ever be)

It seems to me that bk follows the second way, no wonder it was so hard to build and took so much effort, pity you didn't learn much from Unix, once upon a time you had more sense than others, but you seem to have forgotten about the value of simplicity.
