Gcalctool is the default GNOME desktop calculator.
It has Basic, Advanced, Financial and Scientific modes. Internally it
uses multiple precision arithmetic to produce results to a high degree
of accuracy.
This release is specifically to fix a really serious problem in the
5.7.26 tarball that was released last week:
* From Sami Pietila <sampie@ariana-dsl.utu.fi>
Refixed bug #323150 (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=323150)
The recent changes to the square root and subtraction button labels
broke the token parser for arithmetic operator precedence.
You can download this new version from:
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/gcalctool/5.7/
[Although some of the ftp mirrors may take a little while to sync].
