To run KPowersave you need currently:
- powersave >= 0.11.5

(http://www.freedesktop.org/Software/hal)
The available RPMs are currently only for
SUSE/openSUSE 10.0 (older versions also for SUSE
9.2/9.3). RPMs for 10.1 /Alpha/Beta are available
in the SUSE factory repository (see
www.opensuse.org).
KPowersave and powersave are also running on other
distributions:
* ALTLinux:
http://altlinux.org/index.php?module=sisyphus&package....
* K/Ubuntu: e.g. http://www.teco.edu/~biebl/ubuntu
(Thanks to
Michael Biebl )
* Debian: available via 'apt-get install
kpowersave'
* Fedora Core 4 (see project homepage, need also
download FC4 powersave v0.11.2 rpms - this is our
first experimental FC4 package)
RPMs and porting information for other
distributions would be appreciated.
