FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ROCOCO SOFTWARE LAUNCHES BLUETOOTH DEVELOPER KIT BETA PROGRAM

Dublin, Ireland - May 28, 2002 - Rococo Software launches its Beta Program
for Impronto Developer Kit, a standards-based Java tool for developing
Bluetooth applications. Impronto DKž²s framework hides complex Bluetooth
protocols behind standard Java APIs, letting developers focus on writing
wireless applications rather than on low-level Bluetooth networking issues.

"Impronto DK extends the core premise of Java - write once, run anywhere,"
said CTO and Rococo co-founder, Karl McCabe. "Now, developers can quickly
build portable Java applications while making full use of Bluetooth
technology."

Impronto Developer Kit:
· Cuts application development time
· Reduces the Bluetooth learning curve
· Implements standard Java APIs for Bluetooth Wireless Technology (JABWT)
· Runs applications on Bluetooth devices that support Java

In addition to Impronto DK, Rococo offers Impronto Simulator for running
Java applications in a simulated Bluetooth environment, and the Bluetooth
Technology Licensing Kit for adding Java/Bluetooth capabilities to existing
platforms. For more information on these products, visit
