  UNIFIED THREAT MANAGEMENT APPLIANCES, SOFTWARE      Rated 'One to Consider'
and 'Best Security Appliance' for 2005   

BURLINGTON, Mass., December 23, 2005 – Astaro Corporation products have
received accolades from two more publications: 'Best of 2005' for two of its
all-in-one, network security solutions in the December issue of SC Magazine
and 'Best Security Appliance' in the December issue of Computer Reseller
News. This follows closely after PC Magazine named Astaro Security Gateway
220 'Best of the Year.'
   
  Astaro products were featured in the Multifunction Appliances and
Firewalls/VPNs categories in the Best of 2005 SC Magazine issue. In the
October issue of the same publication, the Astaro Security Gateway 220
received a Best Buy and five-out-of-five star rating.
   
  Technology Editor Jon Tullett said the Astaro Security Gateway 220
appliance is, "One to consider very strongly." 
   
  Astaro Security Gateway 420 was named 'Best Security Appliance' by CRN Test
Center's Frank Ohlhorst. He said, "Astaro’s commitment to the channel and
