It can also be used directly without aRts in JuK and Amarok. aKode supports decoding of MPEG audio, Ogg Vorbis, Ogg FLAC, old FLAC, Speex, WAV, and Musepack audio. Changelog: The aKode 2.0 release is independent from kdemultimedia and now features stable aRts-less playback. 14/12 2005: aKode 2.0 release. Identical to RC 1 23/11 2005: RC 1.
