If GStreamer can use existing DRM modules (e.g. Windows DLLs), that's fine. If GStreamer developers are going to be bound by any agreement regarding what they can or cannot do with the GStreamer code, I won't trust their software regardless of the license. I'll prefer different software even for non-DRM files.
