DCC 3.0 released
The DCC Alliance has announced the availability of DCC 3.0, a Debian-based distribution core which offers LSB 3.0 compliance. There is also a simple reference installation distribution, based on DCC 3.0, which can be installed by people interested in working with DCC.

No, we wants to be a member of the DCC. Woohoo! The DCC does not need distributions with no users and no product and no traffic on its mailling lists.

Less emotion would be nice. He started a project, it didn't take off, he hasn't formally called it

I just think it is unwise for the DCC to have lame (dead) ducks like Userlinux in its ranks.Would you vote for a party where you know that "leading" members are incapable and have not produced any result, but still claim things like: "The UserLinux project provides businesses with freely available, high quality Linux operating systems accompanied by certifications, service, and support options designed to encourage productivity and security while reducing overall costs." ( Cut and paste form the dcc website )

And if Mr. Perens says he's still working on it, who are you to say otherwise?
