FYI: FSFE has been active in the WSIS for several years now and I personally have participated in almost all conferences of the first phase in the German governmental delegation, as well as part of the second phase purely for FSFE. You can find quite a bit of the accumulated information here. Also, in case you're interested in some more stories, there are some in my blog.
