Looks a bit like the curently available FlashTrax:

No NIC card (but maybe through USB or COMPACTFlash network adapter), but maybe possible to connect a keybord to the infrared (has an infrared remote control), and its main FLASH can be uploaded.

When going to the "about" menu screen, it is displayed using "Linux, microwindows, ..." - but I still wonder under which license, because I am still looking for "all the source code for all modules it contains, plus any associated interface definition files, plus the scripts used to control compilation and installation of the executable." (extract of GPL paragraph 3)
