I'm glad to see scheduling issues in Debian given attention. Debian is the most important distribution because so many other groups use it as a baseline for downstream products. Even if users are not installing Debian itself, many of us are relying on Debian to make progress.
Also big cheers to Ubuntu, my desktop of choice. My distro-envy is gone, I don't feel the need to "try out" something else to gain some minor advantage. I have been totally satisfied with it, and the UbuntuForums.org site has never failed to answer my questions.
