The article forgets to mention the participation of Mathias Klose from Ubuntu and one of the Debian GCC/GCJ maintainers. Ubuntu has a wiki page about integration of free replacements for the JVM. SkoleLinux also participated and setup a wiki containing summaries and pictures of the event.
