"pirate music" ? Do you mean something like:

"Fifteen men on the dead man's chest--
Yo-ho-ho, and a bottle of rum!"
?

The Humpty-Dumpty priviledge `When I use a word, it means just what I choose it to mean -- neither more nor less.' is not to be left to the RIAA.

I was thinking more along the lines of music from Bands That Allow Recording.
