Description:
K3DSurf is a program to visualize and manipulate
Multidimensional surfaces by using Mathematical
equations. It's also a "Modeler" for POV-Ray in
the area of parametric surfaces.
Features :
* 3D, 4D, 5D and 6D HyperObjects visualization.
* Full support of all functions (like C language).
* Support of mouse event in the drawing
area(Left:Rotate, Right:scale and Midle:
translate).
* Animation an Morph effect.
* Povscript and Mesh file generation(and Run if
povray is installed). VRML2 and OBJ files also
supported.
* More than 100 well known examples.
An applet Java can be found at :

GTK an Xwindow version under work.
Changelog:
=======================================
Current Version : K3DSurf 0.5.2 (13 Sep)
=======================================
New features:
** Add A new section for the drawing of some
"Super" mathematical formulas that can represent a
wide range of shapes : Right now, only one
formulas (Super Shapes) is provided.
** Add possibility to draw equations with one or
more conditions separed by "|"="OR" or "&"="AND" :
An example of condition is provided (cylindre +
Plan). You can also draw the cutted part of the
shapes. Limitations : Conditions can be used only
with one system + the result is not (yet)
"exportable". (see the screenshoot above)
More options are under work...
** Implemetation of the Hidden Surface Removal
(HSR) algorithm with possibilty to choose it's
quality (1-5): tests show that, depending on the
shapes and HSR's quality, animation can gain up to
-35%. Hint: useful for complex shapes with small
Grid(
