My first reaction was Oh no! removing the virtual terminals would be really bad! I rely on them a lot too.

But then I thought that al my systems are now administered remotly, and normally don't actually need this at all.

Only when doing installs that can ony be done locally do I still use this. But when that happen, I really do use this a lot.

Conclusion : only allowing virtual consoles when there is nothing like X started would be perfectly fine for me.
