Debian Sarge Declared StableDebian Sarge Declared StablePosted Jun 17, 2005 23:00 UTC (Fri) by alspnost (subscriber, #2763)Parent article: Debian Sarge Declared Stable
Living in Cambridge (UK), I was fortunate enough to meet several key Debian developers this week, for a combined beer session with our local LUG. It's bizarre to be sitting next to a 'random' guy you've never met, having a drink, and to realise that he was 'the one' that built all the sarge release ISOs, that are now being busily downloaded in every corner of the world.
I can also inform you that said developer's home now includes 11 of the 12 Debian supported architectures. The missing one is, of course, S/390, since IBM mainframes don't fit very easily in small Cambridge appartments :-)
Anyway, well done guys, looking forward to Etch even more now!
