Hi,
I want to announce here the availability of the
Crash Recovery Kit for Linux 2.6.11.10 (i586)
with S.M.A.R.T. monitoring support using smartmontools 5.33
which also can monitor SATA drives using kernel 2.6.11.10.

Here's what my Seagate 200Gb SATA drive reports :
S.M.A.R.T. the smartmontools have been added. The kernel
has been patched with the 2.6.11-libata-dev1.patch.bz2
by Jeff Garzik which also makes S.M.A.R.T. monitoring of
SATA drives possible:
