SUSE 9.3: More, Better, Faster, Now! (Linux Planet) Posted May 23, 2005 11:41 UTC (Mon) by phollands (guest, #26805) [Link] This article fails to point out that by default SuSE 9.3 has removed the ability to play MP3 from all packages.
As you can imagine there was alot of feedback to SuSE about this - and now, if you point your update service at the right german server, you can update all many packages so that they play MP3's again - but it's all very frustrating and takes some searching on Google to sort out.
