The FSF boycott should still stand.
How does one prevent people using GPL'd code, as long as they release the source for their derivative works? Indeed, isn't that point of the GPL that you cannot prevent people reusing for whatever projects they like.

How does one prevent people using GPL'd code, as long as they release the source for their derivative works? Indeed, isn't that point of the GPL that you cannot prevent people reusing for whatever projects they like.

The GPL is a tool, not some sort of comprehensive moral code. It is possible for some behaviour to be worth denouncing even when that behaviour is not explicitly forbidden by the GPL.
