Obviously I know my post sounds bad. However, the post is the truth, and that's how I decided what to say, not "what sounds good." Sometimes reality isn't what one would prefer.
Re: Python, Red Hat writes basically everything GUI in PyGTK: our installer, config tools, etc. - we have used PyGTK for years, it was the first viable language binding for GNOME. I would certainly support using it in GNOME.
