Dear SuSE Linux customers and friends,

We're pleased to announce that SuSE Linux 8.1 arrived in the US as
planned. We've been shipping out pre-orders, subscriptions, and retail
chain orders as fast as we possibly can. Our Canadian customers will be
pleased to know that we have also shipped product directly to Canadian
retailers.  All shops are fully stocked and are ready for your pickups
or orders.

We are also excited to announce that we shipped large quatities of SuSE
Linux to Japan, for the first time in SuSE's history. We would like to
extend a warm welcome to our Japanese Linux users who are now able to
enjoy and benefit from our award winning OS.

Additionally, the Spanish Version of SuSE Linux 8.1 is available at our
online store, http://store.suse.com, and will soon be available at our
resellers in Central and South America.

The Pro-Office CD (which includes StarOffice 6.0) is still available at
our webstore, http://store.suse.com as well as at Fry's, Amazon.com and
other retailers. However, it is not available at BestBuy, CompUSA and
Microcenter.

Plus,  you can now install the Pro-Office CD with SuSE Linux 8.1!
