Well, that's a reasonable default ;-). Then, just drag the thumbnails as you like.

Select multiple thumbnails (mouse click with Ctrl pressed) and then go to Selected Images->Transform selected->... Shortcuts for the operations are defined, too.

> There is a "properties" window which shows basic EXIF information and allows the entry of comments; those comments are not used for anything, however.

They're used for the web album export and slide shows.
