Does anybody here actually understand the results? I see a big bunch of numbers resulting somehow in a winner. However the seem to be no explaination whatsoever what these numbers actually mean.

Basically, everything you need to understand the result of this election is to see that every number in the third row of the given matrix is larger than the corresponding number in the third column. This means that, for every other candidate, Branden was preferred to them by more voters than preferred the other candidate to Branden. But things could get more complicated.The Debian voting procedure is defined in the project constitution. And you can easily find more information on Concordet-style voting methods.
