They aren't talking about stopping piracy, per se. They are talking about stopping people from reverse-engineering the code and being able to make patches to take out dongles, registration codes, etc.

And they're right -- after a while it is going to be really annoying and I'm going to stop. Stop using that program and use something less bloated, paranoid and combatitive, that is.
