International OpenSource Conference
"samba eXPerience 2005" from May 2nd to 4th 2005 in Göttingen
The fourth "sambaXP" refers mainly to the upcoming Samba version 4.
By implementing an own Directory Server Samba 4 will be directly comparable
with proprietary file and print servers (like MS Windows 2003 or Novell
Open Enterprise Server).
17 talks from developers, users and vendors will show the particular
importance of this Free Software alternative for Windows clients.
Like last year an additional 6 hour tutorial track with Gerald Carter about
Samba 3 will bring knowledge to the audience from the Team directly - this
year with a focus on Winbind, including Active Directory integration of
Samba servers.
All information about the conference, talks and party, registration and
hotel reservation is updated regularly at
http://sambaXP.org
Feel free to contact the local organizing committee for any question via
email (loc@sambaXP.org), by phone or fax at any time.
The samba eXPerience 2005 is kindly supported by Novell.
