Microsoft's OS does not contain an SQL database, it's a separate product.
Any security comparision should compare security bugs only in Red Hat components that correspond to a component that is bundled with Windows.
Just the same, if it took Red Hat months to ship a security patch in mysql that had already been released by upstream, then they deserve criticism. Black hats often look for windows of this kind (where a bug fix has been released but large numbers of people haven't installed it).
