If there's a real coincidence, then there's some irony in it, but if kernels have been released at random times of the week for the past 5 years and every 14 or so of them have happened within 12 hours after an LWN deadline (and an equal number before), then there's just no source of humor there. Has anyone verified the irony? I would hate for people to laugh for no legitimate reason.
