Could you elaborate on these permissions issue, please?
This weekend I tried to use a Sony DSC-V1 (PTP mode),
after installing the new libgphoto2 2.1.5, and gphoto2 2.1.5,


digikam happily lists the camera, but them gives
a "invalid parameter error". gphoto2 also gives an error
"io error: invalid parameter"


This looks as it could be related with wrong permissions...
