The most recent Gnome version 2.8 is now available on AIX 5.
This is release 2.8.1, it runs on AIX 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3.
Packages are available in rpm format (binaries and sources for AIX 5 on
PowerPC),
on the Bull freeware site :
http://www.bullfreeware.com/ and clik in the left tab on Gnome
