Sun's internal conflict of interest?

Sun yanks FreeBSD's Java license
One possible reason why Sun is doing this is an internal conflict of
interest problem. On the one hand, the Sun Java group wants to spread Java
far and wide. On the other hand, the Sun Solaris group wants to spread
Solaris far and wide.
Since FreeBSD is a competitor with Solaris, perhaps the Solaris people at
Sun are running a Java interference play against FreeBSD. To be sure, this
is rather illogical and suggests internal corporate chaos, but hasn't this
been the hallmark of Sun lately?
