I've been using the query browser for a couple of days. It looks as though it will be quite good when its done, but the version from 2 days ago is a work in progress. Some things don't work, and it still crashes regularly.

To install on FC2 I has to get hold of gtkmm20. I changed /etc/yum.conf to add http://download.fedora.us/fedora/fedora/2/i386/RPMS.os and then did

yum install gtkmm20-doc

I've been using these for a few months now. While earlier versions were fairly unstable the current ones seem rock solid. The administrator is a decent GUI tool however I'm still trying to figure out the query browser. It has its own unique way of doing things and its taking me ages to adjust.

I haven't tried this tool yet, but, I have a question. Is this tool related
to the "DBdesigner" tool from fabforce.net? I understand that it was
purshased by the MySQL company. This was/is a great tool and would be very
pleased if it was expanded to include perl development as well as php.
