* James Tracy sent in a paper about writing and compiling programs with
emacs and the g++ compiler.

* Claudio Cattazzo and Manuele Rampazzo rewrote the [http://www.tldp.org/]
Italian HOWTO. The previous version was rather
outdated, so they did a nearly-from-scratch job. Also refer to the

* The SSI-UML HOWTO was removed at the request of the author.
* Machtelt Garrels submitted updates for the [http://www.tldp.org/LDP/]

* Translation Projects:

4. HOWTO contribute to The LDP
The Linux Documentation Project (TLDP) is working on developing free, high
quality documentation for the GNU/Linux operating system. If you want to help
TLDP, consider joining <discuss-subscribe@en.tldp.org>.
Help us create this newsletter. We need volunteers who follow the community
(mailing lists, newsgroups, web channels) and report events related to free
