Hmm... That's a unique but interesting metaphor.

Of course, sticking with that metaphor, the reason it hasn't been done yet
is that anyone sufficiently competent at market prediction to predict a
complex market like that three years out, isn't likely to stick around
writing Linux market update reports... <g> They'll be too busy trying to
figure out how to spend the billions they've made on the stock market. <g>
