GParted 0.0.7
Description
===========
GParted stands for Gnome Partition Editor and is a graphical frontend to
libparted. Among other features it supports creating, resizing, moving
and copying of partitions.
Changes
============
* ext2/3 and reiserfs now supported through the official tools.
* added support for ntfs (create, resize, copy) (you need ntfsprogs from
http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net)
* harddisks without disklabel are now properly detected.
* added unmount option
* on 'device scanning' now test if the kernel can reread the partitiontable on that device. if not,
a warning wil be shown to the user and a
lot of dangerous options will be disabled. Although this may seem annoying at first, you have to
realize this will safe you LOTS of trouble :)
* it's now possible to create 'unformatted' partitions (heh :) this CAN be usefull at times :P
