SBCL 0.7.8 released
Version 0.7.8 of SBCL has been released. This version features a Beta-quality port to the MIPS architecture under Linux, cleaned up compiler handling of TYPE-ERRORs, improved argument type checking, optimization changes, the new extension SB-DEBUG:BACKTRACE-AS-LIST and a number of bug fixes. SBCL (Steel Bank Common Lisp) is a Common Lisp implementation forked from CMU CL (CMU Common Lisp) which puts a greater emphasis on maintainability. SBCL runs under Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD and Tru64 on x86, Alpha, MIPS, PPC and SPARC CPUs.
