Hooray! I have subscribed to Linux Magazine, Linux Journal, and various
other publications for years. But I am a home user and most of what they
print is WAY over my head. I don't run a server (well I do, but it's just
to figure out how it works) - I'm just this gal, y'know, who doesn't like
windows. I keep all the back issues hoping that someday I'll reach the
point where I understand more than 50% of what's in them.

I know that amidst this group it won't be cool to admit that a lowly
consumer magazine would be welcome - but I'm in! I love running Linux and
will be grateful for information that I can use.

A publication like this is desperately needed, in my opinion. There are a LOT of people that are interested in running Linux, but may not have the technical background of your average Linux Journal reader or Linux hacker.

I may get the first issue myself, just to see what it's like.

I'm glad that there is finally a Linux publication aimed at the consumer marketplace as opposed to IT pros.
