New abcde version
abcde 2.2.0 was released last night. It is a major release, with plenty of new features. See the changelog at www.hispalinux.es/~data/abcde.php About abcde: abcde is a frontend to cdparanoia, wget, cd-discid, id3, and your favorite Ogg|Vorbis/MP3/Flac/Ogg|Speex encoder (Oggenc is the default). It grabs an entire CD and converts each track to Ogg|Vorbis/MP3/Flac/Ogg|Speex, then comments or ID3-tags each file, all with one command. It supports multiple output in a single CD read, resume operation, volume normalization, gapless encoding (with LAME), parallelization, SMP, HTTP proxies, customizable filename organization and munging, playlist generation, remote distributed encoding via distmp3, and more. -- Jesus Climent info:www.pumuki.org Unix SysAdm|Linux User #66350|Debian Developer|2.4.27|Helsinki Finland GPG: 1024D/86946D69 BB64 2339 1CAA 7064 E429 7E18 66FC 1D7F 8694 6D69 Look at my fingers: four stones, four crates.
