abcde 2.2.0 was released last night. It is a major release, with plenty of
new features. See the changelog at www.hispalinux.es/~data/abcde.php
About abcde:
abcde is a frontend to cdparanoia, wget, cd-discid, id3, and your favorite
Ogg|Vorbis/MP3/Flac/Ogg|Speex encoder (Oggenc is the default). It grabs an
entire CD and converts each track to Ogg|Vorbis/MP3/Flac/Ogg|Speex, then
comments or ID3-tags each file, all with one command. It supports multiple
output in a single CD read, resume operation, volume normalization, gapless
encoding (with LAME), parallelization, SMP, HTTP proxies, customizable
filename organization and munging, playlist generation, remote distributed
encoding via distmp3, and more.
