Connectivity problems?

Parent article: Firefox 1.0 released

Is it just my ISP, or is everyone having problems getting to Mozilla.org and Mozillazine.org?

In one sense, if they underestimated the needed bandwidth that could be a good thing, but if too many people get timeout errors it won't help the cause.

Problem is that newbies, particularly those coming in from the NYT, will not be patient.

My best guess: everyone using 0.9.X or 1.0PR is looking for updated extensions and themes. When Debian sid updated firefox to 1.0PR, 70% of my extensions were disabled, so it was a substantial investment of time to regain the functionality I lost.
