It's a nice change and I hope it goes well for you. Seeing as everybody else is pointing out what doesn't work for them, I'll throw my oar in too:

• The black lines are bad; they're the first thing I had to turn off. The site looks lovely without them though. I would suggest turning them off by default.
• Any chance of having a time based expiry on the front page instead of a number? I used to like the way that the daily page didn't expire until next week, so that I could come back after a long weekend (4 days off in the UK right now!) and still find everything there.
