Does upgrading from Debian testing or unstable work? Posted Oct 21, 2004 0:56 UTC (Thu) by JoeBuck (subscriber, #2330) [Link] The FAQ mentions upgrades only from Debian Woody or from Ubuntu prereleases. Has anyone tried upgrading from sarge or sid? Are there conflicts?

I just added the Ubuntu main to sources.list, gave it a suitable priority, and then picked the stuff I wanted with aptitude.
Galeon stopped working while the upgrade was running, but that is not very surprising ;-) It fixed itself after aptitude was done.
I didn't run into any problems so far.
