Good day,

I was hoping that you could mention the opening of my new Linux
community site. The site is called Tuxme and can be found at
http://www.tuxme.com

Let me give you a brief overview of the site's purpose. If you have
ever been a windows user, there are a lot of windows sites that post
daily news and provide forums for "power users". I envision Tuxme to
become something similar but the Linux users. The site will focus not
on the underlying technologies (compiling kernels, etc) but rather on
the operation of the GUI, productivity software, and being able to use
Linux as a full-time OS without any need for windows.

I have several years of website experience with large community
website, so this isn't some Joe Schmoe site at Geocities :)

There is also a new article on the past 5 years of Linux and how it
has progressed with respect to ease of use for power users used to the
windows interface. It can be found at:
http://www.tuxme.com/index.php?news=1097171038

As I said, I'd appreciate a mention in your already established and
well respected news section.

Thank you for reading my message, have a great day!

It's been LWN.dotted!

Seriously though, I would like to find a decent collection of articles that focus on tuning a Linux system. Any suggestions?
