So far I've barely scratched the surface of DeMuDi, but I've found it to have one of the smoothest installs I've experienced so far, and it recognizes (and correctly sets up) an amazing range of sound hardware, including multiple soundcards. Like most old-timers, I've had no end of trouble with Linux sound; DeMuDi makes it easy.

It should also be mentioned that it uses a kernel with low-latency patches for good real-time performance.
