Interview with Scribus Team (KDE.News)

KDE.News has published an interview with the Scribus developers. "We know of countless semi-professional magazines and personal publications in production with Scribus. In more recent times we had also the pleasure of helping a weekly commercial newspaper (20,000+ copies) in the USA get off the ground using Scribus."

Today, some newspapers, tomorrow the world?

Even discounting for enthusiasm, that looks like a very useful tool.

"Really, we're not out to destroy Adobe. That will just be a completely unintentional side effect." (-:

I've put together two small handbooks in scribus (less than 100 pages) and
I am so happy with the output, and the phenominal ease of use, that I
really can't see using any other tool. (I do my main text editing in
abiword and emacs)

This is a great tool.
