Mr. Steel has a several page rant he'll be happy to send you that discusses the abuses he's endured since the decision was made and is very irate about the disclosure of certain documents with regards to the decision making process.

Some inferences that can be made from this might be:
1.)He's made a politically correct decision and he's doing what he's paid for, but upset because of all the flack he's getting.
2.)He wasn't told ahead of time that this was so politically sensitive and should be getting paid more.
3.)He's not the right man for the job.

Any way it pans out you can be sure Microsoft got what theypaid for.
