Debian security update to tiff

Posted Aug 29, 2013 4:35 UTC (Thu) by thedevil (subscriber, #32913) [Link]

This update fixes the tiff3 source package in wheezy (from which the libtiff5 package is compiled). But what about libtiff4, the main tiff library in wheezy on which many packages depend? It is compiled from the tiff3 source. Is it vulnerable as well (likely yes) and will it be fixed?
