An update that fixes one vulnerability is now available.
Description:
The GNOME file-roller archive tool was updated to fix a
path traversal issue while unpacking (CVE-2013-4668). File
Roller now sanitizes path names while unpacking, so that a
path traversal attack cannot be used to create files
outside the unpack destination directory.
Patch Instructions:
To install this openSUSE Security Update use YaST online_update.
Alternatively you can run the command listed for your product:
- openSUSE 12.3:
zypper in -t patch openSUSE-2013-620
To bring your system up-to-date, use "zypper patch".
