An update that fixes one vulnerability is now available.
Description:
This update fixes a heap-based buffer overflow in OpenJPEG
which could allow remote attackers to cause a denial of
service (application crash) and possibly execute arbitrary
code via a crafted JPEG2000 file.
Patch Instructions:
To install this openSUSE Security Update use YaST online_update.
Alternatively you can run the command listed for your product:
- openSUSE 12.2:
zypper in -t patch openSUSE-2012-717
To bring your system up-to-date, use "zypper patch".
