Today at JavaOne, MontaVista Software announced a partnership with Zentek, a
provider of Java-based software solutions for digital consumer devices.

Zentek will adopt and promote MontaVista Linux as its standard embedded
Linux platform, while MontaVista will reference and leverage Zentek¹s
browser and Java application solutions as part of its offering for wireless
devices.

The two companies are displaying their Java solutions at the JavaOne(SM)
2002 Conference in San Francisco through March 29. MontaVista Software
products are on display in the IONA booth #1436 and Zentek Technology is in
booth #632.

MontaVista Software and Zentek Technology Join Forces
Focusing on the Wireless Devices Market

JavaOne 2002 Conference, San Francisco, March 26, 2002 ‹ MontaVista Software
Inc. and Zentek Technology Japan Inc. today announced they would join forces
to provide embedded developers with innovative solutions targeting
applications in the wireless devices market.

A rapidly increasing number of embedded system developers are considering
Linux for application development, and they require a robust yet flexible
Linux platform for their wireless and mobile applications.  Zentek will meet
these market needs by supporting one of the leading embedded Linux platforms
on the market today, MontaVista Linux®.  As a new member of the MontaVista
